Based out of Reston, VA, New Age Web Services is one of the leading hosting providers catering to local businesses. Based out of Charlottesville, VA, Webshakers is a premier developer of shockwave games and web content. The new company will retain the Webshakers name and logo. "With this merger, we are now stronger and able to offer more services to our customers." The new company will still be based out of Webshakers offices in Fairfax. The staff at New Age will continue reside in the hosting center in Reston. "We've worked with Webshakers so much we felt like we were pretty much one team anyway. The introduction of hosting services to Webshakers allows the company to develop games that require more complex interaction with the server.
